ABOUT
Edward J. Strohm carries on a family tradition of public service that began a century ago. His distinguished, two-decade, law enforcement career for the State of New York is burnished by a multitude of philanthropic pursuits on the regional, national and international stage. First and foremost, is his leadership role with the Three Strohm Sisters Foundation. Under his aegis, this non-profit dedicated to funding cancer research, has evolved to a widely known entity that has raised millions of dollars to further the boundaries of medical science at some of the world's most venerated institutions. His membership on the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Corporate Advisory Board and the New York State Cancer Consortium highlight a wide-ranging leadership portfolio in a number of diverse organizations and worthy causes. As an accomplished and inspirational speaker, he has captivated thousands, at home and abroad, with his sorely needed message calling for devotion to a cause larger than oneself. Edward has been recognized by, among others: the Nassau County Executive, Nassau County Legislature, New York City Council, New York City Mayor's Office, New York City Public Advocate, New York State Fraternal Order of Police, Suffolk County Executive,
